My household has been trying to stick to the Keto diet since the beginning of January. We all have our good and bad days, sometimes we fall off the wagon, but we always get back up. My brother has seen some good results thus far. His favorite thing to “eat” in the morning is a protein shake. He’s tried a few brands- but his response to them was “meh”. I reached out to Ground-Based Nutrition to try their Keto Fit Protein powder. Does it measure up to our standards?

I was drawn to Ground-Based nutrition over other protein powders simply because they offered a Keto friendly powder, but came to realize something that sets them apart from other brands. Not only are their powders organic and Vegan, but they also taste good. If you drink protein powders you know sometimes they can taste like drywall and cardboard, but I can assure you 100 percent, Ground-Based Nutrition’s powders, actually taste so good you’re sad when your shake is gone.
Ground-Based Nutrition’s Products
I was able to try out two different products from Ground-Based Nutrition: Keto Fit Protein Powder, and the Superfood Protein in Chocolate. I found I liked to use the powders differently.
The Keto Fit Protein Powder I preferred to drink by itself. It tastes amazing, is not chalky, or heavy either. I wasn’t sure if I would like the flavor (Cinnamon Roll), but I tried it and was honestly blown away. That’s saying something when a protein powder impresses you.
Keto Fit® is designed to help you stay in ketosis, build muscle, burn fat, and boost your metabolism. Fats are derived from MCTs high in caprylic acid, coconut oil, and avocado oil. The protein comes from 100% plant-based sources which are anti-inflammatory and easy to digest. Thermogenic herbs and nutrients to improve insulin sensitivity are also packed in the formula to accelerate fat loss.
The Superfood Protein in Chocolate I preferred to use as an additive with other ingredients (greens, fruits, veggies, etc) in a shake. This powder is a little thicker than the Keto Fit Protein Powder, and I didn’t prefer the taste over the other powder, but it still wasn’t bad and would drink it again.
Superfood Protein is a convenient all-in-one nutritional shake which contains an organic blend of plant-based proteins, greens, fiber, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals and digestive enzymes.
My brother’s opinion was the one I was really after. I had him try the Keto Fit powder, and he said it was the best protein powder he has ever tried, and that’s saying something. He has tried quite a few different varieties and brands.
My Thoughts
All in all, I would give them an A+. I love that their products are vegan, and contain such great ingredients. They leave out all the “yucky” stuff. If you are on the hunt for a great Keto Protein Powder, I would HIGHLY recommend their Keto Fit Powder. If you are looking for a great tasting “regular” powder- I also would recommend their Superfood line. They have great products and a pretty good variety. The prices are not terrible either for what you are getting!
